Funky town
Born in San
Juan, Puerto Rico on January 23, 1974. For 1990, with only 15 years, doing
imitations Funky enjoyed music, being his biggest inspiration Vico C. He
learned his songs and became popular imitation. As was often invited to parties
and activities. Funky By 1995 he moved to live in the United States with his
wife and children. As a result of his experiences on his first musical
production Funky "Stilo" in 1997. Now based in Orlando (Florida), and
as things in life, Funky meets one of the dancers of Vico C, who eventually
manages to present them.With this friendship grew his admiration for the singer
and new open gap. In January 1998, after a large following by Vico, Funky
decides to embrace faith in Jesus and engage in Christian music.They become not
only friends but also fellow dais.Funky shared three songs on the album
"One who had died" in addition to being co-producer. He sold more
than five hundred thousand copies of that album as a producer and the doors
were opened for Funky big. Since then specializes as a music producer and has
his own recording studio. Experience with Vico helped him improve his knowledge
on gender and develop his own musical style. In May 2002 Life Music releases
his first solo album. The album titled "Funkytown" is a
rap-influenced project in different styles: salsa, reggae, house and R & B.
Songs like Funkytown, Shake hands were some of the topics that have been heard
on radio, and their involvement with Rene Gonzalez in the subject after the
fall. Life Music performed in Russia video clip for FunkytownThe global launch
of the video clip for Funkytown was released through Enlace TBN Chain of Costa
Rica, which broadcasts to more than twenty countries in Latin America, Europe
and Africa. Besides the video clip was successfully patterned on the popular
video channel VH1 MTV Latin America.As part of the successes with this
production, Funky was invited to participate in the famous May 2003 Billboard
Latin Music Awards, which was attended by artists such as Thalia, Chayanne,
Alejandro Sanz and Ricky Martin, among others. Also in May of this year,
participated in the concert Funky Closure Expolit 2003 convention literature
and largest Christian music industry.
